REPICORE stands for "Resilience of South Pacific coral reef social-ecological systems in times of global change" - a project initiated by Dr. Sebastian Ferse and funded by the German Ministry of Education and Research. ________ The program focussed its work on social-ecological Systems in Melanesia - particularly in Fiji, the Solomon Islands, and Papua New Guinea. It aimed to investigate the effects of climate change-related stressors on the coral reef ecosystems as well as the respective communities that depend on them. The film presents an overview of the findings of the 5-year project.
